Henkel selected AVEVA software to save €8 million in P.A. and drive a 16% increase in energy efficiency

Henkel is a German commercial and industrial chemicals manufacturing company headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The company was founded in 1876 in Aachen by the businessman Fritz Henkel together with two other partners under the name Henkel & Cie. The first product marketed was the Universalwashmittel detergent, composed mainly of silicate.

Henkel selected AVEVA software to support energy efficiency and circularity in its online laundry and home care operations. Henkel owns well-known brands such as Persil washer fluid. To drive its sustainability commitment to the market and support to its customers, Henkel built a digital backbone that connects its global operations in the Cloud. The system uses 3,500 sensors at each of its laundry facilities sites, which together provide 1.5 billion data points that allow Henkel to meet demand and reduce energy consumption. its use by 16% in just six years.
