Neste End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization and Scheduling with AVEVA
Neste is a Finnish oil and marketing company, primarily engaged in the production of transportation fuels and other petroleum products. Neste Oil shares are listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
Neste was established in 1948 as Finland's state oil company, to ensure fuel availability. This involved the construction of refineries and the development of the necessary technology. From its founding until market liberalization in 1990, Neste maintained a monopoly on oil imports within the country. The oil transportation infrastructure in Finland was built by and is owned by Neste, and gas stations source their fuels from Neste, although the monopoly is no longer sanctioned by the government.
